Image to 3D — Create 3D Models from Photos
Transform your images and photos into stunning 3D models with our advanced AI image to 3D converter. Create 3D models for printing, gaming, and AR/VR in seconds.
How to Use Our Image to 3D Converter
Upload Your Image
Upload any image or photo. Our AI works best with clear, well-lit images showing the object from a good angle.
AI Converts to 3D
Generation time varies with the image, selected model and queue. Inspect the result before downloading; a quick preview does not guarantee accurate geometry.
Download & Use
Export in GLB, STL, OBJ, and FBX. Perfect for 3D printing, Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, and more.
Why Choose Our Image to 3D Converter?
AI Shape Reconstruction
AI infers a three-dimensional shape from the visible outline, shading and perspective in a single image. The back, underside and hidden parts are estimates, not measured surfaces. Rotate the preview and check those areas against your reference before exporting; accurate dimensions may require manual editing.

Picture to 3D, Photo to 3D & 2D to 3D Conversion
Picture to 3D
Turn any picture into a 3D model online. Magic3D's picture-to-3D AI reads shape and depth from a single photo — ideal for product shots, character references, and concept art.
Convert Photo into 3D Model
Upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP photo and get a mesh in under a minute. Export GLB for web/AR or STL for 3D printing — no plugins or desktop software required.
AI 2D to 3D Converter
Make a 2D image 3D automatically. Our AI 2D-to-3D pipeline builds geometry and optional PBR textures from flat references — perfect when you don't have CAD files.
Image to STL for 3D Printing
Start with a sharp reference image whose full subject is visible; enlarging a blurred photo cannot recover missing detail. After exporting STL, check that the mesh is closed, confirm scale and wall thickness, and inspect the slicer preview before printing. STL export alone does not guarantee a printable model.
Get a better 3D model from your photo
Choose one clear subject
Start with a sharp photo of one object, with the whole silhouette visible and space around its edges. A plain background and even lighting help separate the subject from its surroundings. Crop away unrelated objects instead of expecting the generator to choose the right one. JPG, PNG and WebP are practical starting formats; each uploaded image must be no larger than 20 MB. A product photo, character reference or concept drawing can be useful, but a higher resolution does not restore details that are blurred or hidden in the source.
Understand common failure cases
Reflections, transparent materials, heavy shadows and overlapping objects can make the shape ambiguous. A cropped handle or hidden leg may be reconstructed incorrectly because the model has no direct evidence for that part. If a result looks wrong, first try a better reference with the complete object visible and more even lighting. Repeating the same unclear input does not resolve missing information. Generated back and underside surfaces are estimates, so compare the preview with your reference from more than the front view before choosing an output.
Inspect geometry before printing
Rotate the model and inspect thin parts, disconnected pieces, the underside and any areas absent from the reference photo. AI generation is not a measurement service: a single photo does not establish exact dimensions, wall thickness or mechanical tolerances. An STL export is a mesh file, not a guarantee that the object is watertight or ready to print. Open it in your slicer, verify scale and units, review walls and supports, and repair geometry when necessary before committing to a physical print.
Choose generation, conversion or viewing
Use this page when the input is a flat photo or drawing and you need AI to create geometry. If you already have a GLB, OBJ or STL model and only need another file type, use the 3D format converter instead; format conversion does not reconstruct an object from a photo. Use the 3D viewer to inspect an existing model. GLB can carry materials and textures for web previews, while STL carries geometry without those colors. For a printing workflow, follow the AI STL guide and validate the exported mesh in a slicer.
