Browser-based 3D file tools
Convert 3MF to STL online
Extract the mesh geometry from a 3MF model and download an STL file for a slicer or modeling application. Processing happens on your device; no account or credits are needed.

Free · On your device · No sign-up
Up to 25 MB and 1 million mesh triangles. Your file is processed locally, not uploaded.

Create a 3D model from an imageHow to convert 3MF to STL
Step 1
Choose your 3MF file
Select a mesh-based 3MF file up to 25 MB, or try the sample.
Step 2
Convert the geometry
Build-item transforms are applied and supported units are converted to millimeters.
Step 3
Download and check
Download the STL, then check its size, orientation, and mesh in your slicer before printing.
What this conversion preserves
STL stores geometry only. Colors, textures, materials, supports, printer profiles, and slicer settings are not carried over. Encrypted files, mixed-unit packages, and some extended slicer projects are not supported. Conversion does not repair a mesh or guarantee a printable model.
Frequently asked questions
Is the 3MF to STL converter free?
Yes. This browser-based file conversion uses no Magic3D credits and does not require registration. AI model generation is a separate service.
Will my model keep its colors and print settings?
No. STL has no standard color, texture, material, or slicer-setting storage. Keep your original 3MF if you need to preserve those details.
Will the size of my model change?
The converter reads the 3MF unit and outputs millimeter coordinates. STL has no unit metadata, so import the result as millimeters and verify its dimensions. Packages with different units across model parts are rejected.
Why might a 3MF file fail to convert?
Some 3MF files are extended slicer projects or contain unsupported features rather than a standard mesh build. If conversion fails, export a mesh-based 3MF or STL from the application that created it.
